Scheduling & Availability

What is the free 15-minute consultation?

The free 15-minute consultation is an initial phone or in-person meeting where we can get to know you, discuss your needs and concerns, answer any questions you have about our services, and determine if we're a good fit to work together. There's no obligation—it's simply an opportunity to connect and explore whether counseling with Ti'Malex Healthcare is right for you.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can request a free consultation through our website or by contacting us directly. We'll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule. We offer flexible hours, including evening and weekend availability.

Do you offer flexible hours?

Yes! We understand that schedules vary. We offer flexible appointment times, including evening and weekend availability. Virtual sessions are also available for additional convenience.

Do you offer virtual/online counseling?

Yes. Secure virtual appointments are available for clients who prefer online sessions. You can learn more about virtual counseling on our Virtual Counseling page.

First Session & Getting Started

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session focuses on understanding your concerns, discussing your goals, and developing a personalized counseling plan. We'll spend time getting to know you, learning about your background and what brought you to counseling. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, and we'll discuss how to work together. This session helps us establish trust and ensure we're aligned on what you're hoping to achieve.

You don't need to have everything figured out before coming—just be ready to talk openly about what's on your mind.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a form of identification and your insurance card (if applicable). It's helpful to have any relevant medical or mental health history available, but this can also be discussed during your appointment. Most importantly, bring an open mind and a willingness to engage in the process.

Is counseling confidential?

Absolutely. Your privacy is protected, and all sessions are conducted in accordance with HIPAA confidentiality standards. What you share in counseling is private and protected. There are limited legal exceptions (such as imminent danger to yourself or others, abuse of children or vulnerable adults), which we'll discuss at the beginning of our work together.

How is my privacy protected?

We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for all virtual sessions and record-keeping. Your information is stored securely and is never shared without your written consent, except in limited legal circumstances. We take your privacy seriously and follow all applicable regulations to protect your information.
